For the first ever Drink of the Month I’ve chosen to do Palomas! This is a perfect summer drink.
Not only are Palomas super refreshing they’re also quick and cheap to make. And who doesn’t like that?
Palomas Fun Fact:
The origin of this drink is unknown but it’s believed to have been created in a town named Tequila in Jalisco, Mexico.

What can I say? I like to keep it educational every once in a while.
Anyway…..
My husband Chris formally introduced this drink to me by telling me it’s actual name. He had to Google it to prove it to me lol. Before I just referred to it as a cuba because in my family, any drink that has a soda or juice base is informally referred to as a cuba. I’m not sure why or who started it but that’s how we do it. This drink is one of the entire family’s go to drinks on weekends, staycations and at parties or get togethers.
Palomas are the kind of drink you can get creative with. You can garnish it with grapefruit peels, grapefruit slices, lime wedges and you can add salt or sugar to the rim. So,each glass can be a little different. Chris and I like to keep it simple.
